EB5 Capital Celebrates Opening of New Hilton Home2 Suites in Temecula, CA

Washington, DC – EB5 Capital joins Huntington Hotels Group in celebrating the grand opening of Temecula Hilton Home2 Suites located in Temecula, California. The property is a 120-room Hilton hotel in the heart of Southern California’s wine country. It is situated between Los Angeles and San Diego counties, and is a ten-minute drive from 5,000 acres of award-winning vineyards and the Pechanga Resort and Casino, the largest gaming establishment in the state of California.

“We’re thrilled about seeing our fourth EB-5 funded project open in the Golden State,” said Brian Ostar, EB5 Capital’s Senior Vice President of Global Operations. “With a total of six projects delivered or under construction in California, this project is one of the four deals we structured in partnership with Huntington Hotel Group. The opening of Temecula Hilton Home2 Suites represents another milestone in our company’s extending portfolio of completed EB-5 projects across the country.”

EB5 Capital funded $8.5 million in the project as a preferred equity investment. The hotel includes a business center, dining room, outdoor swimming pool, fitness room, and entertainment space. The project will contribute to addressing strong demand for additional hotels in Temecula driven by tourists and the Rancho California Business Park, where several leading pharmaceutical and technology firms are located. The Home2 Suites Hilton brand targets corporate and leisure travelers and is specifically designed for families visiting for several days.

March 2019 Construction Update: NYC Ritz-Carlton

With underground foundational work nearly complete on our NYC Ritz-Carlton (JF22) project, the hotel structure is now coming into view from street level. Soon passersby will begin to see the first levels of the hotel emerge.

“The project is now at the point where you can see what’s happening from the street level without having to look down,” said David Slavit, EB5 Capital’s Director of Asset Management. “The permanent tower crane has been installed, which means we will begin to see the hotel take shape very soon.”

EB5 Capital Begins Receiving I-829 Approvals for San Jose Marriott Hotels Project

Washington, DC – EB5 Capital announced today that investors in its San Jose Marriott Hotels project have begun receiving I-829 approvals from United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). USCIS issues approval of the removal of conditions of residency for EB-5 investors who have completed their conditional residency period and have demonstrated that their investment has resulted in the creation of at least 10 full-time jobs. I-829 approvals permit continued residence in the U.S. without conditions or restrictions and opens a path to U.S. citizenship for EB-5 investors.

“An I-829 approval demonstrates the complete success of a project chosen by a regional center, affirming the project has met USCIS job creation requirements,” said Angelique Brunner, EB5 Capital’s President. “We look forward to seeing additional notices of I-829 approvals for this project in the coming weeks.”

San Jose Marriott Hotels is a $35 million equity investment in Huntington Hotel Group’s construction of a dual-branded Marriott Residence Inn (175 keys) and SpringHill Suites (146 keys) hotel in San Jose, CA. Located only a half mile away from San Jose International Airport and five minutes from downtown San Jose, the hotels opened in 2015 and continue to outperform their original operating projections, consistently rating as top performers among their competitive hotel set. The project created more than 1,230 EB-5 qualifying jobs, which is over 17 jobs per investor.
